ARS Liguria is a Public Health Agency working to promote and protect the health of people living in Liguria. Even though we focus mainly on domestic issues, International Activities are an important branch of our work, as we strongly believe in the relevance of international partners and cross cultural exchange.

The core business of ARS Liguria is to provide technical support to local policymakers in order to ensure the best data and evidence for decision-making process. However, we’ve taken advantage of our staff’s expertise to establish a small set of International Activities.

We provide consultancies to the World Health Organization in the areas of TB and HIV program management, drug management and pediatrics (EPI, IMCI and Child Health Services Organization). We also work as reviewers for medical journals and provider of educational opportunities for health workers in resource-poor settings. ARS Liguria is the link between Regione Liguria (the administrative division around Genoa) and International Partners in the area of health promotion and health services organization.

Scaduto - Bando regionale per il finanziamento di progetti di cooperazione allo sviluppo ed educazione alla mondialità e alla pace

La Regione Liguria, con la delibera di Giunta n.1836 del 30 dicembre 2008 (pubblicata sul Burl del 28 gennaio 2009), ha emesso un bando per progetti di Cooperazione allo sviluppo (con uno stanziamento di 265 mila euro) e per iniziative di educazione alla mondialità e alla pace (con uno stanziamento di 170 mila euro). I soggetti interessati devono presentare domanda entro le ore 12 di lunedì 30 marzo 2009.
